We are Robert and Celia Woodbridge and we live on Romney Marsh, Kent, England - just 15 minutes from the Channel Tunnel.
Celia has been breeding English Springers for 25 years, starting with a second-hand field trial/show bred bitch brought in as a much-loved companion and family pet. A trip to the Southern English Springer Spaniel Society’s championship show in 1983 prompted an interest in the show-bred dog and possibly breeding. She is now secretary of that Society, chairman of English Springer Spaniel Welfare and has been a committee member of a general canine society for many years. She is also an occasional contributor to the canine newspaper, DOG WORLD, enjoys writing poetry and prose and has edited a new breed book, BEST OF BREED: English Springer Spaniel (see link to Amazon books).
Robert enjoys the rough shooting scene and works one of our dogs throughout the season – his other passion being to create and maintain a stunning garden that will withstand the ravages of the springers’ inquisitive nature!
All our dogs are microchipped, health tested for known hereditary diseases, and hip scored and Celia is a founder member of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme.
